It's Pavlovian (look up Pavlov's dog) -- Pavlov trained a dog by ringing a bell and then feeding the dog. Eventually the dog began to drool just by hearing the bell, even when there was no food.

A lot of parents potty-train their children by running water in the sink while the kid sits on the toilet. Eventually your brain begins to associate the sound of running water with going to the bathroom. I know people in their 60s who were trained like this and STILL have trouble with running water... :-)

It's called Stress Incontinence. There are a few kinds of incontinence. Look it up. You should see a endocrinologist about your problem, it is curable.

This happens to me almost everytime I run the shower, so it does work.
