he said he likes me too and he said he was making it obvious. but then he told me he hates being emotional and doesn't like to show his feelings. what does this mean? does it mean he likes me but doesn't want to go out with me or what?

wow good job! you just did what most of us are too scared to do lol.. well at least we know what can happen now lol. well i think he was probably just nervous about telling you that he likes you too. And it also means he really likes you a lot if you think about it...he doesnt like to show his feelings, but he was making it obvious that he likes you....so he likes you that much that he had to show his feelings. you just have to look at it from his point of view. im pretty sure he wants to go out with you unless he said otherwise.

All it means is that he likes you, but being the guy he is, doesn't want to show it. He probably does want to go out with you but it's normal for guys hide feelings. My boyfriend does that and he told me that it's just the way he was brought up. Maybe it's the same with the guy you like.

Nope, it just means he isnt the type of person to express his feelings. If you are ok with him acting cold and distant around people then it may work. However, if you are one who shows emotion ( ei....holding hands, hugging in public, public affection, intimate conversations, saying I LOVE YOU.), then this may not be a good match for you.
He told you this up front, because he didnt come straight out and tell you he liked you. He tried to show his affection by actions, and you didnt pick up on it apparently.
These relationships can work, but you gotta have alot of patience. lol

He means that if he likes you more than he says he does he wont tell u u would just have to figure it out.
