You could use Bio Silk and then straighten your hair with a straightener - sometimes that makes it smoother and shiny!

It really depends on how much product you use as well when straightening if any product.. If you are going to use product use very very little then use hair spray or glue/gel after you are done to finish it. Because if you have too much product it'll go stiff and then after a bit of wear kind of greasy feeling and not what you want obviously.. And do your straighteners have ceramic plates? because those work very well and help with continuous wear and less damage

I have the same straightener. My hair works just fine with it. The straightener should have a manufactures warranty so since it stopped working you should be able to get a new one or they could repair it. And, all hair is different, some hair types don't work with straighteners and some do.

Good Luck!

straighten your hair section by section, make sure you get a good hair straightener. mine goes up to 400 watts, which is pretty hot already. after you`re done, put biosilk on it. it makes hair really smooth and flowy.
