Matthew M, this is a different question since the speed of light is a known limiting factor. Thre is no proven maximum mass for a rock.

JT, Relativity has been demonstrated in many ways including the precession of Mercury, light bending and graviational red-shift..

Well, perhaps. Step one would be existing, and He's still working on that. So to speak.

Einstein certainly did no longer say no longer something can flow swifter than the fee of sunshine, we've been taught this in Grade 10 technology. sounds like people could commence paying interest in college incredibly than carving initials into the fixtures and makings bongs our of plastic beakers. There are issues that do flow swifter than the fee of sunshine already in spite of the reality that they do no longer seem to be sensible for trip. Theoretical physics does advise it might desire to be attainable to trip swifter than the fee of sunshine inspite of the shown fact that no longer by utilising mechanical ability eg area ships with swifter than gentle features or warp drives etc. etc. Deus Ex Machina: Your assertion is invalid concerning to no depend if 'god' has mass or no longer would desire to impression his ability to exceed the fee of sunshine. If god had a nil relax mass he nonetheless could no longer exceed the fee of sunshine in any different case he might have not have been given any power. nonetheless he can curiously do something he needs interior of his very own rules and breaking the gentle barrier isn't a no no interior the bible from reminiscence. :) between the superb questions i've got seen right here so a strategies, thank you a gaggle!

Unclear. If there are rules to the universe then no. But in spirit form things are different.
Nowhere in the Bible, that I am aware of, did God break the laws of the universe as we know them. We know water has surface tension, we know God and Jesus can be corporeal and spirit so walking on water doesn't break the rules, it just changes or works with them.
God had to ask where Adam was in Eden and why he was hiding himself. God, in corporial form, apparently has the same senses and limitations of corporial humans. He's not like Superman with Xray vision to look through bushes or see through rocks.
God created man in his image, both corporial and spirit. But man has never learned the spirit side of it.
When man does man can possibly to to Alpha Centuri in the blink of an eye.

In the Eternal time scale, since the last ice age receeded, about ten thousand years ago, God has traveled faster, than the speed of light. Get er done.

Hmmm, think about it this way: if the Sun suddenly disappeared would it take 8 minutes for the Earth to swing out of orbit (how long it takes light to get here), or would we instantly fly off on a tangent?
I think whatever force it is that tethers us to the Sun can also be used for transportation. We just haven't figured out what gravity IS yet.
LOL @ relativity! Did you even check out that website I showed you? Get with it dude, the electric universe theory is the wave of the future.

Hmmm... the speed of light is a proven limiting factor? I think that's only a THEORY... Ever hear of the THEORY of relativity?
Revise the question.
Oh... BTW, I'm not falling for the old, "Can God create a rock he can't move?" trap ne-way. LOL

this gets into the whole argument "can god make a rock so hevey he cant lift it?" only this time the question is "can god create a universe with a limited speed of light and then break it?"

Why not ask him in your prayers, because I was always told your prayers will always be answered.
Perhaps we could get God in Yahoo answers for a couple of days to answer the mysteries of life
or perhaps not
