According to history and the time that Jesus was alive, it was almost unheard of for Rabbi's to remain unmarried and celibate. Is it possible that Jesus did in fact get married?

Jesus Was NOT a rabbi. --These people do not understand that He was not an ordained Jewish teacher, perhaps they do not know what the word Rabbi means in the Jewish faith.
Jesus was most likely married and had kids.

Why do you think that most of his life is not deposited in the bible?
ONLY about 6 years of Jesus' life is accounted for. what was he doing the rest of the time.

people back then got married and had children when they were teenagers,
I don't see ANY reason at all why in the world Jesus would be the exception and be an outcasted member of Jewish society for 25 years up until he started going around preaching.

Rabbi when translated means teacher and this is certainly what Jesus was - a teacher.

There is nothing in scripture to indicate he got married and everything to indicate that he did not. When Jesus was alive, it was also unheard of for a man to be born perfect - yet Jesus was. It was also unheard of for a woman to conceive without sexual intimacy but it happened.

There would be nothing inherently wrong with Jesus getting married. There is nothing inherently wrong with marriage. It is a divine institution. Still Jesus chose not to for various and obvious good reasons.

Jesus did not get married. It was also unheard of for a man to go walkking on water and healing people in an instant.

God Bless

He was not an official Rabbi as a position in the church. He was simply a teacher and the term was used based on his function, not his position.

Jesus' bride is the church, not any one human female. If he had gotten married, it would've been mentioned. God holds marriage in honor and if His Son got married, His word would've made a big deal out of it.

Not officially or technically, however even the Pharasees acted as if he was at least an honorary Rabbi.

If I'm not mistaken Rabbi means teacher or learned one.

Of course it is. I have no idea why people are so offended by the thought of Jesus getting married. His virginity and that of his mother have nothing to do with the Salvation he offered to mankind.

You said it "almost unheard of" but not impossible. Marriage was not a requirement for teaching.

Yes.

That's the point.

He was a modern day "rebel"

But he was perfect.

Then he died for us so we could live with him.

He didn't get married, the bride of Christ is Jerusalem, and Jerusalem will be his at the end of times (revelations)

He has always fulfilled his word, and I have no doubt he wont do it now.
