Im not sure if you can get rid of them for good but they do make products you can use to reduce the amount of split ends you have. I use Pantene Pro-V and it helps makes my hair healthier. Good luck!

You need to smooth the split ends down to look better abd to not split more.
My hair is almost halfway down my back. I have some split ends, but they are not as bad as many people's considering all that I do to my hair...straightener, curling iron, products, etc., and I wash it everyday But people occasionally compliment my hair. What I do is after my shower I comb my hair out straight, then I put a little puddle of olive oil , that I keep in my bathrrom,in the palm of my hand. I rub my hands together then smooth the oil over my hair. I am careful not to use to much or not to get it on my roots so they don't look oily. Then comb your hair through several times to make sure the oil lightly covers all your split ends. Then style your hair.
It really works. Your hair will look healthier, shinier, and olive oil is a lot cheaper than the other products you can buy and it works just as good or better. I do it everyday.

Well, first of all let me just say that I have been through this and it is a hassel! One way you can go is find a shampoo that will help with getting rid of split ends. Another way you can go is get your hair branded often. Not only does it get rid of the split ends, it also helps your hair to grow. You should probably do both just to be safe. Suggestions for shampoo: I have a few, and I heard that they work very well. Pantene Pro V works very well. You could also try Garnier Fructis. I hope I helped you.

You need to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. You need to leave the conditioner on your hair for like 5 minutes, if you have a hair net this will help to keep the body heat in and reconstruct your hair you will need to condition your hair daily. It is very healthy to use more than 1 brand of shampoo, to use 1 on 1 day and another the next. It keeps your hair healthy. Good Luck

your hair is lacking the nessecary protein and fats. you can look in magazines like seventeen for more ideas but otherwise
1. eat foods that contain keratin (ie jello and carrots)

2. use a hot oil treat or home remedy treatment to thicken the ends

3. use a detangler, sometimes if you brush your hair right when you get out of the shower it causes split ends, use a detangler and then a comb if needed

for more look in seventeen

well when you wash your hair be careful when you comb it not to pull and stretch the hair because it causes it to break and tear. also use a good shampoo. it sounds like you have dry hair so i would recommend biolage . get the hydrating shampoo because thats what i use and it helps my hair. also use their conditioner.if you condition the scalp alot it will help. if you only trim an inch or 1/2 inch every six weeks this will help to cut out splits.

Use a good conditioner. The best thing for you to do at this point would be to try to prevent future split ends. Try to stay away from heat (blow dryer, straightner, etc.), do not brush your hair when its wet, and condition!
