The one built into windows (assuming you are XP)

Just insert black CD and drag files over to the drive

On linux .. K3b. I like it a lot. and grip for encoding.

On Windows .. Nero. sometimes free, often inexpensive.

On Apple, I am told burner software now comes with, but on older Apple Toast was good and Toast is still available for Apple OS X.
