The first deity figure that pops into my mind is Mary in Christian theology, although she did not have a "virgin" birth. In Pagan theology, she might be the equivalent of Gaia.


In reply to the previous poster, Galadriel is Elrond's mother in law and Arwen's grandmother.

She was the queen of Lorien and the guardian of the ring of Air and performed many miracles until she left for the West to live forever in the company of the Gods.

Sounds good to me. I'll worship her!

No actually Arwen was her grandaughter. Elrond married Galadriel's daughter.
