yes it will get harder in the center.and if you squeeze the puss out that can cause more of them to come out. i suggest you wash your face 3 times a day at leats and keep your hair way from your face let your face get air so it can refresh, and drink alot of water that really helps.plus dont eat alot of sweets.

The only you're going to get the infection out of a hard boil is to have it lanced by a doctor. You might just want to cover it with a bandage and leave it alone until you can see a doctor. If you do squeeze it, you might spread the infection throughout your body. Otherwise, eventually, the boil will open up and drain on it's own. Go see a doc. These things are painful and he'll probably lance it and give you some antibiotics. Godloveya.

ok..squeeze it and you are looking forward to a very long, painful, and disgsting staph infection..
You need to go to a doctor and have him open it up and clean it really good..
Never simply pop a boil..you will regret it ...
