Just go to Tesco's and buy one, they'll be a selection of at least 10 and you won't have to worry about buying the 10 or so ingredients. Then if you want something in particular to go in you can add it seperately.

Take some gravel, add a few twigs, some dust and a handful of mouse droppings, lightly garnish with those things you find down the back of your sofa but you don't know what they are, mix well, throw in the bin, then go, as suggested above, to Tescos....

you have lots of answers of recipes. As I am less energetic than those writers, I just go to Lidl and buy their luxury Muesli (cheap) I find it better than Morrison's products. It is rich in sliced fruit, especially banana slices, brazil nuts etc and I add low fat yogurt for my daily breakfast, Cheers.

i never use a recipe. just put in about 5 cups of oats then add all your nuts, seeds, wheatgerm according to personal taste, anything from a couple of tablespoons (for things like linseed and sesame seeds) to a handful (sunflower and pumkin seeds). add a third of a cup of honey and same of coconut (to sweeten) and half a cup olive oil and mix well before lightly toasting in an oven set to low for about 20 min. when it's cooled add a cup of mixed fruits like dried apricots and sultanas. experiment!
