I desperately need a sofa....or loveseat....or even a chair.
I am a single, disabled Mom who has not been able to work for three years. I am also still caught up in the whole appeals process for SSI.
I have lupus and have had to have my knees replaced. After three years, my resources are depleted. Please don't think I'm a deadbeat lookin' to the world to give me freebies. When I was able, I worked. I wish I still could.

I am in Louisville. I will keep my ears open,but that is a long drive. Check out www.craigslist.org/about/cities.html. There are listings in Lexington, Louisville and Western Ky. Click on the city you want and go to for sale. Check out free and furniture. You can even place a general ad and ask for free furniture. Good Luck

Try Craigslist.org Be sure and put in what area you are in. They have free stuff on there sometimes, and if you can't find anything, you can post a WANTED ad for free! It's a great site. You might also try any charitable organizations in your area.
