LMAO at the 'breath of life' people. water is 88% oxygen, how come it isn't alive? Incidentally, that 65% human oxygen is bound up with hydrogen as you guess it, water. Which would explain the Xtian obsession with fish.

Oxygen is primarily produced in massive stars. In stars with at least four times the Sun's mass, 16O nuclei are produced during the Carbon burning process. 16O can also be produced in stars with at least 8 times the Sun's mass as a result of photodisintegration during the Neon burning process.[5]

Oxygen is the most common component of the Earth's crust

The oxygen that you speak of is when God breathed the breath of life into us.

Please read Genesis yourself and you would find this written right after the part where God formed Adam from the ground.

The Bible doesn't SAY DIRT. It says "clay of the earth." Meaning that basically Man is the SAME as the earth. He is a unique biological creation, THE VERY LAST of God's creative process, on the last creative day. We are basically, miniature earths! We need the SAME atmosphere it needs, we need water in approximately the same amount its made out of, we need trace minerals in the same amount it is made out of, and we have our own unique organisms alive in and on us as the earth does, and if we take too many or the wrong antibiotics, it can cause imbalances that are potentially, life-threatening!

Basically, our only difference is we are CONSCIOUS and are a soul. We respond to thoughts and ideas and can think "theologically" or outside of our own worldly physical views (hold religious thoughts and doctrines). THIS is what makes us unique. Our BRAINS! The very fact that we can ENVISION ourselves AFTER WE DIE when no other animal except elephants are even afraid of death. Our creation was a gift to us, something we can NEVER REPAY with any amount of worship or thanks. Therefore, only our actions can even begin to repay for this gift.

Where is the dirt?

have you not studied the decomposition of the human body?

water is not left in the latter stages but dirt is.

clay is only dirt that has a high degree of water content.

you're purely throwing gasoline on the fire. Many Christians don't comprehend that animal do evolve yet that would not recommend that we are from them. I do. we at the instant are not from animals. We have been made by way of God, one guy and one woman, then genetics took over and we reproduced our selves. Monkeys make monkeys, human beings make human beings. I actual have a question for you. Did you ever think of that possibly earlier human beings raped monkeys and produced those genetics that are so on the threshold of ours? decrease back then possibly the genes have been closer? per risk it became into any incorrect way around from what human beings say?

Get your facts straight when we die we turn into dust if you have ever seen a dead person who has been dead for a while and you would relize that. Another thing is we are not mostly Oxygen. We breath Oxygen. When you die if we were Ox you would not see any dust. That theory is of yours just blew in the wind.

Dirt has plenty of carbon and oxegyn, and hydrogen, nitrogen, etc

You forgot the "breath of God" ingredient.

The belief that we are just dirt and chemicals is an Athiest belief, Christians believe there is more.

There is a soul, spirit, etc.

sigh.

Boy, you need to read a science book.

The body is about 75% WATER. Hydrogen out weights Oyxygen by about 75%!

H 2 O

Two Hydrogen to One Oxygen.

The rest of the body is CARBON based, and CARBON is an Earth Based organic.
