I'm a first time visitor and I was amazed how cruel some of the answers were from others to people who are trying to reach out for answers in a time of need: Ex. death, suicide, divorce, etc. Some of the answers that were listed were awful. This forum may be a last resort to some and we are telling them to jump off bridges, jump in front of cars, shoot their spouses, etc. How would you feel if you were in a similar situation and this was the answer you received. Some of the answers given here could send someone to their death. What an awful way to treat a brother or sister in Christ.

The ones that are cruel or such " Discernment of spirit" comes to mind, you just have to take it with a grain of salt ! Wisdom, do not dwell on spirits of bad fruits ! God Bless!

In several cases, people in desperate situations asked for real help and got in response from Christians advice that they pray. In other cases people who were clearly mentally ill appeared here talking about delusions about evil spirits and the like, and believers reinforced those delusions, claiming that they were real.
Whatever it is that you were upset about in those responses, you have to recognize that talking about "God and His Purpose for them" is just as irresponsible. Reinforcing a person's schizophrenia-induced beliefs in demons and the like could send that person to his/her death. So could telling a person with a serious problem that prayer will solve that problem.
I completely agree with you that it is simply wrong of people to make light of others' suffering and jokingly suggest that they kill themselves (etc.). But the arrogant "I have the answers - just come to Christ" responses are not any better. It is very important that you understand this.

I must admit you perfectly correct. But as you keep examining this forum you will find that there are many caring people here. Some are just jokers that answer questions, some are people like me that try to help their neighbors.

A lot of people ask questions just to mock others and kill time. People probably assume that you are doing this. It is unfortunate for someone that is truely seeking answers.

i'm a Muslim woman and all day i've been reading and RECIEVING hate responses myself. it's because the ppls hearts have turn cold, they bash me,n i bless them. the ppl don't want to hear truth, opinion, fact or anything. they even have no manners. that's alright, May God bless them anyways. the ppl been through so much they think God doesn't exits. the ppl don't realize God helps those who help themselves.
