Vladimir Putin is very infamous in western mass-media for not making American government happy with what they want to achieve and breaking American geopolitical plans of world dominance. Also he is very infamous for his work to make Russia strong and independent country.

PS. It's funny to read answers of those brainwashed Americans who wrote above. Guys, Litvinenko wasn't even a spy, you morons :)

He is president of Russia, he used to work for the KGB, the Communist gvt.'s secret police. He seems a little on the dictatorial side for my taste but he is no monster like Stalin was. At least not yet. And he seems to like peace with the West, which is good. Overall I'd give him a B- which is not bad for world leaders.
