goto the center make a boat load of friends and see if both your current friends and community center friends and their parents can road trip to play paintbal some saturday. You can never have to many friends and for paintball twenty is a good number.

If you are going to the field, why is he thinking you are home too much then? Maybe try to do some other things with the friends or make some more friends. The community center will help you achieve both. Can't have too many friends. Ask your friends to go with you and check it out. You may all benefit from the experiene. They have activities you will like I'm sure. Maybe something new you have never heard of or tried. Don't get stuck in the same old rut. There is a whole bunch of opportunity out there.

Andrew, why do you not go out to the paintball field then, you have to show your dad that you are out going before he can assume that you don't need some assistance. I am a parent and my 14, 13, and 12 year olds do nothing but sit around the house. It is IRRITATING! Tell your dad I said thanks for the idea. Be active Andrew there will come a day when age gets to you and then you will wish you would of been more active. Good luck! Claire

well isnt there some way that you could do both, or maybe you never go out with your friends and just say you "want" too, be glad that your father tries to get you involved in things, you will stay away from the wrong things because of that

You can make new friends. Make something good come out of it. Don't make yourself miserable hating the experience. Make the most of it. You'll feel better if you do.
