How do they taste and how are they served?

I don't think I could eat a plate of slimy legs, are they made to look a bit more apetizing?

Prepared frog legs are not slimey. There are several ways to prepare them and I think they are very tasty. You can find recipes on several sites. And Yes, they do taste somewhat like chicken, especially when fried.
Snails also are not slimey they are most often broiled an served in garlic butter, aside from being chewy sometimes they taste mostly like the garlic they are prepared in.

Frog legs are usually battered and fried. Remember the muppet movie when the Colonel was out to get Kermit? Kermit dashing off on his bicycle, his skinny little legs going. Spoiler warning: Kermit got away!
Snails are like eating pencil erasers dipped in garlic. Not worth the "escargot" price.

I love frog legs. They are often breaded and taste like chicken. In fact they even look a little like chicken but smaller.

Snails are cooked with garlic butter.
