Warm mist vaporizers work wonders, especially the kind that has a little well for adding special Vicks medication to it. Just don't put it too close to your baby's crib or she will get soaked by the vapors settling on her. I usually put mine on the edge of the dresser and placed a towel on the floor in front of it just in case. Leave her door ajar so her walls don't get soaked.
You can also buy the infant Vicks Vapo Rub to put on the chest. This stuff is fantastic for calming the irritation in the throat that causes coughing, and it's not a drug. Quite safe, actually. There may be some infant cold and cough meds out there, just don't use them too often (talk to your doc about this one). Elevating the crib mattress by placing a phone book under it will help a bit too. Keep the fluids going during the day to keep the mucous from getting too thick. Avoid dairy, which can aggravate mucous (ever feel a film or "bubble" in your throat after drinking a glass of milk?) Super sugary foods and drinks also contribute to mucous as well, so make sure you water down her juice 50/50 (a habit you probably practice anyway).
All three of my kids (6 and under) have coughs right now. Nights can be soooo tough, can't they? I practically keep my VapoRub in a holster!

you need to put in a humidifer close to the babies crib but not where she can reach (about 3ft) the steam should be going straight up into the air if it fountains over then the setting is too high and won't do much. For the stuffy nose try using the boogie ball - she won't like you much for it but may help loosen whats in there. They have vicks baby rub too, we used it for my son and seemed to work well. I rubbed is back and chest with it. Hope she's feeling better soon - there is nothing worse than a sick baby and a tired mommy

Run a hot shower and sit on the toilet with her for 15 mins. Also the cold night air is good if its raining even better just make sure nothing is exposed but her nose. LOL looks funny like a baby mummy but really works. Also prop the mattress up on the pillow end. Both my sons have had these probs and I have taken them to the doc so many times. They have told me to use these methods and it works every time.

vicks vaporizor and vapor rub sinus infection will clear up on its own have child blow nose as much as possible i would be more concerend about the ear infections. make sure your child is not going to bed with a bottle. when a child is drinking laying down it is possible for fluids to get into ears and cause nasty infections. if this is cause let your doctor know and call doctor and let him know about nose and cough. if child gets bronchitis they may need medication for it. if not taken care of child could get phnemonia and thats really bad. the vapor rub will help breathing

Put a humidifier in the babies room. Prop his/head ip by putting like a blanket under the mattress. Thats about all you can do. They advise against giving babies cough or cold medicine. Good luck and I hope the baby feels better.
