INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 (29 ounce) can diced tomatoes
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
12 dry lasagna noodles
2 eggs, beaten
1 pint part-skim ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef, onion and garlic; drain fat. Mix in basil, oregano, brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles, and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, or until al dente; drain. Lay noodles flat on towels, and blot dry.
In a medium bowl, mix together eggs, ricotta, Parmesan cheese, parsley and 1 teaspoon salt.
Layer 1/3 of the lasagna noodles in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover noodles with 1/2 ricotta mixture, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese and 1/3 of the sauce. Repeat. Top with remaining noodles and sauce. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

There are many different types of lasagna. Basically all lasagna is, is layered filling between flat wide lasagna noodles. Here's an easy recipe for you:
1 jar spaghetti sauce mixed with 1/4 cup water
1 box lasagna noodles
1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
1 large container cottage cheese
2 1/2 cups shredded cheese, your choice (I prefer mozarella or cheddar)
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
In a bowl, mix hamburger, 2 cups shredded cheese and parmesan cheese. In the bottom of a baking dish, pour about 2 tbsp. of spaghetti sauce into the dish. Layer 3 noodles and then top with spaghettie sauce, 1/3 of the hamburger mixture, and 1/3 of the cottage cheese. Layer the remaining ingredients, top with noodles, a layer of sauce and 1/2 cup cheese. Top with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned.

1 box of lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions.
1 lb Italian sausage
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs
2 lbs ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/4 c grated parmesan
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp dried basil
mix eggs, basil, and ricotta and mozzarella cheese together. Set aside.
Brown garlic and onions in saucepan. Add sausage and cook till brown. Add spaghetti sauce.
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Layer lasagna noodles, cheese mixture, sauce mixture. Repeat layers. Top with parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. serve with garlic bread.

I don't use the lasagna noodles they are not to tasty to me I use tortilla raps instead.
1)make your meat(1lb) and add after cooking the meat cottage cheese (8.oz)
2)put a layer of tortillas on the bottom of the casserole pan and layer with your meat then the cheddar cheese then another layer of tortillas and you keep on going I put 3 layers but you can put as many as you want.
Trust me this will be the best lasagna you ever tasted.

Lasagna
1 large jar prego sauce
1 pkg lasagna noodles
mozzarella cheese
1 carton cottage cheese
1 lb hamburger
cheddar cheese
Brown hamburger (spray baking pan) spoon enough prego into bottom of 9x12 inch pan to cover. Lay uncooked noodles on sauce. Add rest of sauce to browned meat. Spoon 1/2 onto noodles, cover well, spoon layer of cottage cheese. Cover generously with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Repeat layers making sure all noodles have sauce on them. Cover tightl with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour. uncover and bake another 15 minutes. check noodles with fork to see if they are tender.

Makes: 12 servings, one piece each
1 lb. ground beef
2-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese, divided
1 container (15 oz.) POLLY-O Natural Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Meanwhile, mix 1-1/4 cups of the mozzarella cheese, the ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, the parsley and egg until well blended; set aside.
DRAIN meat; return to skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Pour water into empty sauce jar; cover and shake well. Add to skillet; stir until well blended.
SPREAD 1 cup of the meat sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; top with layers of 3 lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture and 1 cup of the meat sauce. Repeat layers two more times. Top with remaining 3 noodles and the remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle with remaining 1-1/4 cups mozzarella cheese and remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Cover tightly with greased foil.
BAKE 45 min. Remove foil; continue baking 15 min. or until heated through. Let stand 15 min. before cutting to serve.

1lb of lasagna noodles par boiled, follow package instructoins
1lb of ground beef cooked, then warm up with sauce
25 to 30 ounces your choice of pasta sauce, I prefer Aunt Marie's ( or from scratch preferably)
2 to 3 lbs of ricotta cheese,mix 2 eggs, parsley,salt pepper, garlic salt in to cheese, to taste
Layer noodles first, cheese, then sauce, you keep laying until noodles are finished.
Grate parmesean cheese on mozzarella on top
Cover and bake about 1/2 hour at 350 degrees

Creamy Chicken Lasagna:
1 hour 20 min prep
8 servings
3/4 lb lasagna noodles
1 (28 ounce) can plum tomatoes
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 onion, chopped
2 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons dried tarragon
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 cups milk or heavy cream
3 carrots, sliced
1 cup celery, diced
2 tablespoons parsley
salt
fresh ground black pepper
3/4 lb mozzarella cheese, grated
1. Cook chicken breasts and cut into small cubes (less than 1/2 inch).
2. Cook noodles in boiling water until almost done.
3. Drain and rinse in cold water.
4. Lay flat on baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap while you make sauce.
5. Drain tomatoes.
6. Squeeze out excess juice and cut into bite-sized cubes.
7. Cook onion and celery in butter in large pan for about 2 minutes or until softened.
8. Add flour and stir over low heat for another minute.
9. Stir in dried herbs and chicken.
10. Slowly add stock and milk or cream.
11. Boil for about 1 minute.
12. Add carrots and cook for 5 minutes.
13. Stir in tomatoes.
14. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat.
15. Spoon enough sauce to cover the bottom of a 10x12-inch baking pan.
16. Use 1/3 of noodles per layer and 1/2 of chicken mixture and 1/3 of mozzarella cheese per layer.
17. From bottom, layer noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella.
18. Repeat with noodles, chicken and mozzarella.
19. Top with final noodle layer.
20. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
21. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees until bubbling (about 40 minutes).
22. Uncover and brown under broiler for about 5 minutes to brown top slightly.
23. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
