when i upload my videos from my camcorder they come out to be 30 gb. and i cant put that much on a dvd. Is there a way of solving this problem? is there a program that could resize my videos? thanks a lot to all of you that help.

30gb in what format? when you 'upload' them (upload is not really the correct term, but...) you should see if the software you're using allows the file to be transferred in a different, more space efficient format to begin with.

ideally, you should then convert them to dvd folder format (audio_ts and video_ts), run dvdshrink on those folders to decrease the quality of each video, and so create a smaller dvd folder.

you don't say how long the video(s) are, but by using the above method you can easily fit 4 full length movies onto one 4.7gb dvd without any (noticeable) loss in audio or video.

Search for a video editor, there are many available for free or contra cost. Also the DVD creation software should have some features in this area as well. You can change the picture quality, size, frame rate, audio quality, thus changing the final file size.

i use belkin
videobus 11,usb cord and video programs ie:roxio and video wave software,.also in windows movie player when you save the movie you have options for resizing etc
