I'm told by my man that I have a wide and flexible vagina. He says that because of this when I have a baby I'll have it natural birth.

THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL IF YOU WILL HAVE A NATURAL BIRTH OR NOT UNTIL THE TIME COMES JUST TRUST YOUR DOCTOR AND STUDY UP ON ALL TYPES OF BIRTH

That really has very, very little to do with it. It might mean that you won't have to have an episiotomy, but they try to avoid those nowadays anyway.

There's no way he could tell if your pelvic bones are going to separate properly, or if your cervix will play along like it should, or whether the baby will end up lying in the proper position for a natural birth.

Also, one child may be born vaginally (I assume by natural, you mean vaginal, and not the no drugs at all kind of natural), and then the next one won't cooperate at all and you have to have a c-section. Every baby and birth is different.

And it seems to me like that's a really wierd thing for a guy to say. Do I even want to know what the conversation was that led up to this? LOL.

If anyone ever said "wide" or "flexible" about my girl parts I'd be saying "tiny" and "limp" about his!!

You can plan all you want, but if you end up needing a c-section to save your babies life your natural birth plan is out the window.

I'm with the answer that recommended you read up on ALL scenarios and be prepared for anything to happen!!

no! NO! and No! dont ever take advise from a man about your vagina (if he is a doctor get a second opinion) ha ha! but that is not true lady! you can have the best of everything (treatment doctors ect..) but your baby abd your body determines how L&D is gonna turn out!
