I had this problem on my right leg for a week already, it persist, specially at night when i am about to sleep thus i cannot sleep at all.

i would start off with eating a bannana becuz they have potasium which helps leg cramps anyways. but if that doesnt help, i'd go see a chiropractor cuz it could be like a pinched nerve since it is in only one leg

leg cramps are often caused by lack of calcium and/or potassium in the system. while not the only cause, a simple way to alleviate most leg cramps is to add calcium and potassium to your dietary intake whether as a vitamin pill, or by drinking milk and eating bananas on a frequent basis.
if the cramps persist, you may need to see a doctor, but give it about a week to ten days.
