You can try Grannicks Bitter Apple Spray or they used to make it in a less liquid formula. You should be able to find this product at your local pet supply store.

Have plenty of chew toys and Nylabones, Kong etc and supervise the dog when he is out. When you see him getting near the coffee table, correct that with a sound of disapproval or a NO. Redirect to things he can chew. When you can't supervise, use a crate or Kennel Cab. This helps to discourage bad habits or to break them.
One of my dogs went through a really bad chewing stage that was in two parts: Puppy teeth chewing and new adult teeth chewing. She put a hole in the wall two times. It would have been much worse had I not used a kennel. Now I don't have to worry about it at all. I don't have to use the kennel anymore either, but keep it out because one of my dogs like to use it as her den. (it's in a walk in closet that I keep open for her)

I keep dogs from chewing furniture by applying clove oil. I got a small bottle at the health food store. It's a bit pricey, but it goes a really long way. A couple of dabs of clove oil should do the trick.

It's very strong scented, and dogs don't like it. Keep applying it daily or so until the dog shows no interest in the furniture at all.

We had to store ours in the basement because of the same problem. Buy your dogger many rope type toys for now. All shapes and sizes. There is a blue chew toy you may want that actually stores any food you'd like to have as a treat. Peanut butter is an all time favorite. He'll outgrow his likeness for wood quickly. Good Luck.

my dog jade has her own toy box so she stays plenty busy, and if u see them chewing or doing something u dont approve of let them know , they will know by the difference in ur voice, but l think what works good for my dogs which r a pittbull, boxer, and a great dane, is using almost the same words so they can reconizie it and know it such as , good dog, bad dog, no. sometimes dogs r just plain stuborn and with some it is alot more harder but what works for me is to have plenty of chew toys availble for the dogs. lots of them good luck
