we are both 16 i live in maine and he is from massachutts we meet thru a friend our date is going to be a prom date in may i am really nervous please help

You'll be fine.
Keep your body relaxed and remember to breath normally. When people are nervous they tend to breath shallowly and it reduces oxegen to your brain.
Remember that no one can see what's going on in your head, so if youj keep your body relaxed and keep breathing normall, you will look at ease and no one will know that you are nervous.
Be sure your dress and shoes are comfortable to wear and that you feel good about them. You want people to notice you, not the clothes or how distracted you are by the clothes.
Your date will probably be as nervous as you, so be gracious and try to make your date as comfortable as possible.
Don't do drugs, alcohol or anything else that you don't want to do. Trust your instincts. Have fun!

Be yourself, laugh if something's funny, eat if you're going to a restaurant...guys hate it when you order like, just a salad....carry mints...compliment him on something...don't curse, it sounds trashy, even if he curses... and-Have FUN!
