Just doing some research. Do you send the coursework once you've done it with your Teacher, back to the Exam Centre that you have chosen? With a form like this: http://www.edexcel.org.uk/VirtualContent/80130/CAS.pdf

Or does someone outside, such as a Private Tutor have to authenticate the coursework, and if so, how?

You give the completed coursework back to whatever subject teacher, and they send it to the exam board (AQA, Edex etc) after marking it

I am doing an OU Course. The tutor sends a copy of the coursework and his/her comments sheet to the OU Head Office - so there is a copy on file - and the original verson back to me.
