Some women just don't know what they want! If you ask any of the women who are with the men who treat them like crap they will tell you that they are not there because they like the way they are being treated but that they feel that they can't do any better because they have low self esteem. I myself have been in relationships like that and was never happy until I got rid! I just want someone who I find attractive and is going to be there for me through thick and thin no matter what.

I am married to a guy that is sensitive, honest, good looking, a great sense of humor and someone who loves me with all of his being.
Women that go after guys that treat them like crap feel the need to change them or think they can.

My guess is that you just got dumped. Sorry about that. Yes there are shallow women out there just as there are shallow guys. Sometimes there are women who somehow think they don't deserve better than a man who treats them like crap because they have low self esteem and they haven't gotten the help they need or really discovered their self worth. Most of us want the sensitive, honest man with good sense of humor. We don't necessarily want him to be metrosexual or a complete pansy, but we do like someone who isn't afraid to show they care. I am married to a wonderful, honest, intelligent, senstive, caring man who has a wonderful sense of humor and treats me like a princess but he is by no means a wimp (he also happens to be good looking - bonus for me:-D). Its the best relationship I have ever been and I wouldn't trade him for all of the rich, good-looking shallow a**holes in the world. Sorry you have had such a bad go of it. Hope you haven't been jaded for life.

I do believe you are right on some points. In another sense, some don't know what the hell they want. They just can't live without a guy(or so they think) and latch onto anything no matter how bad because they think they can never find another to treat them as they deserve to be treated. To be fair to the men, there are some women who deserve to be treated like crap sometimes. Don't dish it out if you can't take it I say. I'm not talking about physical abuse, but like other things. NO ONE deserves to be abused in any way, but a LITTLE taste of the same medicine may open some eyes sometimes.
What I'm saying is that SOMETIMES(and it works BOTH ways) that when they do get a good mate, they don't know how to respond to them.

It's because they don't really know what they want. Do you? Honestly? Are you honestly saying you would turn down an attractive woman or a rich woman? These are appealing characteristics, and especially since the people that are abusive in a relationship don't usually start the relationship that way, a woman will already be in a relationship before they find out it's abusive. Then it's up to they're level of self worth to see whether they're confident to leave that relationship.

this is wrong .. women do want a guy who is sensitive honest and has a good sense of humor .. it's just that they love a challenge .. and the reason most girls end up with guys that treat them like crap is because the guys put up a front at first , then once they get the girl attatched.. which isn't hard.. they start acting how they really are.. girls don't ask for that, it's put on them .. and its harder for us to realize that they aren't the person we thought they were at first

Oh god, not one of these again. Look you, I was abused when I was a little kid, I don't want some guy who would do that to me. Some of us actually want that. Actually, we're lucky if we even get close to a guy like that! So I wouldn't be going on about that, cause it's not entirely the truth. Oh my god you are old school because I heard a guy say the same thing.You know what that is so true in some cases.but when these woman grow up they will see all the time they said they wanted a good man they really did but it will be to late because there name want be worth a **** because if the fact that the other man destoyed that thought.only because they would be already used up.
