He was a boxer for a while he never went pro but then became a boxing promoter. Which he did for years. Then one day him and his partners found out the UFC was for sale so they pooled their money together bought it cheap and used their connections in Nevada to get it back and build it to what it is now. Dana is the President but he is only one of 3 owners. Everyone seems to think he is the man. No he is just the guy that gets to go on TV and do all the talking. Probably because he is used to it. He is a fight promoter by profession so...
He has been around the busness for many years and knows what he is talking about. I don't see anyone calling Don King out to fight and he has talked a lot tougher on TV and to other fighters than Dana ever has...

In maximum suitable scuffling with: From Blood pastime to vast Time(a documentary that debuted on CNBC) Dana says he trains as an mma fighter each morning, yet has in no way fought and would not plan on it yet.

Dana White used to be an amateur boxer before he became a businessman. So he is a fighter, or at least he used to be.

No, he doesn't. I don't know what gives you that impression. He does stick up for MMA and his fighters a lot. But being the president of the UFC that is to be expected.

no he does not nor has he ever claimed to be. if it wasnt for dana white pushing for recognition that mma is a valid sport we would of never known how much training these fighters go through and how devoted they are to their sport

Actually he used to be a boxer, I don't know if he ever went pro but I do know he wasn't that good so that's why he went into business for himself.
