We recently got SSI for my son. What do we have to report???

Question

Do we have to report when we buy furniture?? We bought my son a bed with his money, but we bought us a bed with our own money. Do we have to report that too??? I'm new to this. Serious answers only please.

Again, do I have to report the bed we bought for ourselves, even if I didn't use his SSI money

to my knowledge and it's been a while.. u must keep rec. 4 anything u buy ur son IN case they want to see it.. Of course, u can't keep a rec. on everything but they just want to be sure the money is going for him.. U might want to call directly to SS and ask them in general (without telling who u are)..
