i have a job at an indoor pool. I have blonde highlights in my hair, done by a professional. I heard that when highlights got in chlorine, it changed the color or something, im not sure what. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what will happen &/or what can i do to prevent it, ex. shampoo, stuff to put on it before i get it wet...anything you know will help1 thanks!

Too much chlorine can turn blonde hair green tinted (regardless of it being dye or natural). To alleviate this problem, just wash your hair after work.

There are special shampoos that act against chlorine as well. I believe they are available at most swimming sporting good stores.
