My cat sniffed my arm and when I got up he was biting and scratching me!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you have any lotion/perfume other scented item on your skin? I've found that there are just certain shampoos that I can't use if I'm going to be around my mother's cats and keep my scalp intact... some smells just tend to set certain cats off... *shrug*
