Having her on a 2-3 foot chain or leash tied to the porch isn't a competent theory. there is often the possibility that she chilly get tousled and as a neighbor down the line found out the troublesome way, chanced on that the puppy had hung itself falling off the precise step. It only takes a jiffy for an accident to ensue. i might advise the two getting a fence (which i be attentive to could be costly) or probable getting a tie out (placed faraway from something that it could get tangled into) or putting up a canines run between 2 timber giving lots of area for the canines to run. i might advise an invisible fence however the down fall with those is the actuality that community canines can come onto the valuables each and every time they want.

When dog owners fail to clean up their dog's mess from MY front lawn, I do exactly what you are asking. I go out, pick it up inside a bag, follow them home, and open the bag, dump the crap on their porch or lawn, and walk away.
I don't usually have to repeat the process for the same owner.

No it is not, I've done this myself. People think it's ok for their dog to their business wherever and not have up clean up after them? Well that's just wrong. So now when I see someone walking their dog and it poops on my lawn the owner gets it back. Not on their porch, just on their lawn.

I would say ...be brave enough to ask the owner first to clean up the mess; then if they refuse or deny responsability....take it to their yard for them !!! On the flip side....I had a dog who went at my kids soccer game ( I had already used my bags for a previous clean up ) so I went to my car to rummage up another bag...and got followed and yelled at by a father....I guess I was supposed to pick it up with my bare hands !

I think it is the right thing to do. Now if you put it in a paper sack, waited until dark, placed it on the front cement steps and lit the bag on fire and rang the doorbell and ran like hell....now THAT would be wrong. LOL

I agree with Briana and Krista.. Too many times people are concerned with revenge and punishing people rather than making things right. Also,do you really want to touch poo? It'll take more courage to talk to the person than leave that stuff anonymously, but in the end I think that really is the "right" choice.

You should have knocked on the door and asked the owner if he dropped something, when he said no, present him with what you found on your lawn.

That would be "passive agressive" and the best thing to do would be just to confront the owner in an "assertive" way. Good Luck

I think this is the way to make for bad neighbours. It is more than annoying though to have it happen on your yard. Then again, if you know where the owner lives.. you could always send it to them in the mail!! Phewwwww!!
