we did my daughter's party at an inside playground! that way we didn't have to try to come up sith games to entertain many children that age< i think planned activities would last all of five minutes!> we let them have cake and icecream, did presents and party bags< i put little toys in the gift bags instead of candy, alittle more expensive, but much better for the children!> then sent the kids to the playground to play! all the other parents told me is was one of the best parties b/c their kids were tored whemn they left, not all hopped up on sugar and calke!!

If summer out side. Otherwise at home. No more than 3 other guest. One guest for each year of his age.

I would not try to have organized games for 3 yr olds. Some cake and icecream. Provide some inexpensive age apropriate small gifts for each guest.

With 3 yrs olds this is enough. The party can be over in as little as 30 minutes to no more than an hour. (actually an hour for this age is reallllly a long time.)

Try Chuck E Cheese. A good place for kids parties. Or A less expensive idea is to throw a theme party. Like Bob the Builder.

Find a indoor party jump place, you know with inflatibles for the kids and adults to play in. We have had great success with everyone going home tired but having had a great time!

Have the party in your house. Order pizza or make it and decorate with some of his favorite movie characters.

McDonald's or Chuckie Cheese, they do all the work. As far as games...there is the clothes pin drop, (dropping clothes pins into a jar/can) bean bag toss, duck duck goose...
