Has anyone ever noticed the difference between the quality of questions in the Yahoo "Dating and Singles" sections versus say "Dining Out"? Yahoo should eliminate the fomer category b/c it's almost entirely comprised of the emontionally immature. My fear is that a great idea like Yahoo Answers will go the way of Yahoo Chat - nothing but bots and no intelligent exchanges. What do you think?

There is a forum for all age groups and we simply select those we like to answer. The way questions are worded are indications of the age-range of the questioners. It is up to the person who wishes to respond to decide when to respond.

Did you ever stop to think that the people that ask the really immature/idiotic questions are the ones who are in the most dire need of sound, reasonable advice? It is troubling to see so many of them though. I answer as many questions in Dating and Singles as I can, in hopes that maybe a small fragment of wisdom is picked up by the asker.

There could be a lot of different categories, but too many would not make sense in my opinion.

yes I have noticed that...and the worse part is that they can't spell...I encourage getting hooked on phonics!!!!
