First, you buy the Chiltons or Haynes repair manual for your Ford.

Then you read the step-by-step instructions provided for removal and installation of your heater core.

Then you buy a 12 pack of Bud and get to it.

it is a very involed job, and I recomend take it to a professional. But if you want to do it yourself buy a good service manual and most important keep track of what screws came from where cause there is alot of them. plus good luck getting to the heater hoses under the hood, they are a pain.

You know to make it A LOT easier for YOU, go to the library and get a henz manual on your ford. This way you can follow exactly how to do it with out damaging your car. Thats how I did my enterior on my 85 mustang.

If you have a video camera it might help with the job. Just video tape the complicated parts, that could be the whole job.
