I just got a nice and fresh mac and my ipod, and I don't want to buy my music from itunes which doesn't have every song available.

There is FrostWire, LimeWire, XFactor, XNap, Poisoned, Gluz, giFT, and Cabos. The best one is LimeWire, and FrostWire is similar to it, but there is a LimeWire for Mac for sure. I don't know about the others, maybe there are, but choose LimeWire. You can search for "download limewire mac" and you should get some results. Be careful, though, some music files are actually stealth viruses or just white noise. One example of a virus track is this:
(Sample Artist Name - Sample Title .mp3)
You'll know that it is a stealth virus if there is 3 periods in front of mp3
(sample name - sample title| ...mp3)
Some viruses are disguised as some Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, and some T.I. songs as well. There are others, so good luck and be careful.
