No. The way they tell them apart is by their scent. A female when in heat puts off a scent that can carry a couple of miles away attracting any males in the area.

both will bark, surprisingly if bored, less than pressure, or really scared. One answer is do not go away the dogs outdoors on my own all day or evening. this can make maximum dogs bored and start up barking. No, some of my girls have very deep barks and some of my boys have squeaky, girly-man barks.
