My husband and I were going to a dinner dance over the weekend and when I went in to say good night to my 5yr old he said momma you look like a teenager again,real pretty.
I couldn't keep the smile off my face all night,he's the only guy I need a pick me up from.

My 5 year old son who has a global communication delay, has been trying really really hard to talk... in fact he loves to tell knock knock jokes.. but the punchline is always the same.
The other day, we were headed out and it had snowed the night before. Eli grabs some snow and decides to wipe it on my husband's jeans. When he asked him why he did that, Eli turned around to him and said "See, snow pants", then he keeled over laughing.
Freakin' comedian..lol

My two year old boy loves firetrucks, and there was one that had the ladder all the way up (firefighters were putting on a show for some girlscout troup) anyway, so he saw the fireman go up the ladder, and said "thats cool" ... dont even know where he heard it from.

The other morning my 2 1/2 year old son crawled in bed with me, put his arm around me, and said mommy i love you, you are my best friend. I could have melted.

My six year old went with me to a prenatal appointment and heard his brothers heartbeat for the first time. He said "it sounds like he is munching Cheerios in there"

I asked my son what they had for lunch at school and he said:
Tacos, rice, and bikini bread. (meaning zuchini bread).
Not shocking since this is the same kid that called Chapstick, Crapstick up until recently.
