you can get a reverse perm. They use the perm solution without the perm rods. They put in the solution and use a comb to comb it straight while it is processing, the they do they same thing for the second solution!! Good luck.

If you mean you have naturally straight hair and used a perm to make it curly but want to go back to your natural texture, then perms have to be grown out and cut. You can only get it straight by means of flat irons and hot combs. So as your hair grows out you cut an inch or so off of the curly permed hair until you've gotten it all out over time. In the mean time you just have to use styling tools everyday (or so) to give a straight "effect". Otherwise, the perm is permanent.

Whether your hair is curly or straight depends on the shape of your hair follicles. Lots of people have straight hair that becomes curly/wavy over time because the shape of their follicles change. If your hair has become naturally curly there is no way to make it permanently straight because new hair will be curly/wavy.

If your hair is curly because of a perm or other treatment it can be reversed(somewhat) with a reverse perm or other treatment, or you can just wait for it to grow out.

why would you want straight hair? curly hair is so much nicer and its easier to straighten then it is to curl?

anyways, if you really want to ruin it. just get one of those treatments that chemically straightens your hair. i think it lasts 6-8 months.
