My ex-bf recently called me to go see a movie with him. I did, he picked me up, then he drove me home. He told me that he wants to see me every once in awhile? What does that mean? We didn't date very long, and HE was the one who ended it. We also never went past kissing cuz I'm saving mysefl for marriage. Does he have bad intentions and when will he realize how great I am? Some say he's just after sex, but he knows my atrict beliefes on premarital sex & if really wanted to trick me wouldn't he have treated me me much better during the movie date? Since he wanted to see me does it mean he has a little feelings for me? We hadn't seen each other in one year when he called me so it was really strange, but he would still talk to me on msn during this year. Why did he do that and what does he want? He's 26 and I'm 21. He's in grad school & he even got hired for a good job while I'm finshing university. Is he ready to settle down or is he just stringing me along.

Maybe he doesnt want a committed relationship right now but enjoys the time you guys spend together and wants to see you more an a platonic level. He's in grad school and it seems like his life is a little full at this point in time. I do not think all he wants is sex. He wouldn't go through all the trouble of trying to change your beliefs. He seems like a nice guy. Who cares what others think. If you enjoy spending time with him then keep seeing him as friends.

If he's calling you after a year, it's doubtful that he's just trying to score. Maybe he's had some time to compare you with other young "ladies" out there, and he's decided that you're worth waiting for.
What's the harm in dating him again? Maybe be sure to work into the conversation sometime that you're still committed to premarital chastity, lest he does have some idea that, this time around, he'll have a better chance of "having his way with you."

Girl,
This is the Better Ex-Boyfriend Dilemma.
You need to realize once it's over and he's broken up with you, you don't need to have any reason to deal with him ever again. Yes, I'm that cut and dry about it. If he didn't want you the first time, what's different now and why does he want back in. I wouldn't put it past him to think he can get you to have sex with him. Don't trust him. Ask him straight up what you've asked us on here. If the answers don't sound right, tell him to pack up and get the you-know-what on!
Best,

I think that he enjoys your company. I don't think that he really has any intentions with you other than fooling around. He probably broke up with you becasue he wanted sex and you said no..so he knows that he doesn't have a chance there. I don't think that he's ready to settle down with anyone yet. He just likes being around you but nothing really more than that.

sound to me like you're thinking too much... is hanging out with him "now and then" and being non-exclusive enough for YOU? I've learned to (try to) live in the day/ moment more and not worry as much about where the relationship is heading. What's the harm in seeing a movie now and then, you may meet 'the one' while you're out... You may learn more about yourself and how you deal with relationships... He may learn that you're the one for him... He may not... If it's hurtful to be with him, cut him off...

Stick around, you are in the best position to answer this question. There is no way you could describe him enough to make anyone be able to give you the right answer... like if he wanted you... are you ready to stick with him?!!...

It does not mean anything. He wanted a friend to go to the movie with him. I would not wait around for him to show more interest.

If everyone tells you that he's just after sex, why don't you believe them? What do you think he's after? Because that would be my guess, also. We could ALL be wrong, but I kinda doubt it. I hope, for your sake that we are.

he is just stringing you along, trying to hang on to you in case he doesn't come across another girl he likes better. You are his 'back up plan'.
