Well..I dont have any kids my self but I have had my fair share of changing dipers on the road.
I dont think there is a good brand of diapers and pull-ups...But if you can I would go for huggies...they seem to be the best ones I have used..but if you dont have the budget then I would go for something cheaper..Doesnt matter.
As far as the diaper or pull-up while on the road, I would go for the pull-up. you can easiely change it...Pull it off and then pull a new one on...Very easy....
you should bring enough pull-up's and baby wipes.....And maybe some changes of clothes....Just in case..
Good luck:)

Diapers are better for road trips. The supplies you will need are Diapers, Baby Wipes, Plastic Bags, Baby Powder, and at least two Towel. The towels are to protect your seats when you lay the baby down, the plastic bags is to put used diapers in until you can throw them away.
I'm not going to tell you how to change a diaper (if you have a baby, you should already know). However, the brands I used on my children was Huggies and Pampers.
P.S: Just one warning. If you have a boy baby if he has an erection when you take the diaper off (duck or cover him fast), He is about to piss all over you.

LOL, first child? Disposable diappers are best. Where would you keep the re-useable dirty ones? No one wants to smell that. I always like Luvs, but most of the brands will do just fine. You'll change the baby in the back seat. That's the only place that makes sense. You'll need bottle supplies, food, snacks, toys, diapers, baby wipes, sunlotion, and changes of clothes for when they mess up themselves. Don't forget hats or beanies to help keep them warm. Of course t-shirts. It's cold outside, so jackets if it gets cold, and blankets. It wouldn't hurt to carry some infant tylenol either. They may develop sore gums,or an earache, etc. Pack more supplies than you think you'll need. That way your safe. OMG, I forgot the #1 thing you need. A Carseat!!! Sure you want to travel with a baby? Good luck.

diapers ...of course..lay them on the seat...get some wipes and some plastic bags and lift their little tush and stick the new diaper under baby before you change soiled diaper...and clean up the duty and dress the child back up and clean your hands with a clean wipe ...seal it all in bag and CHUCK IT OUT THE WINDOW LOL
