Stuffed Peppers

2 lb lean ground beef
3/4 C Italian seasoned bread crumbs
3/4 C instant rice
1/4 C V-8 juice
2 eggs
1/4 tsp dill
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 small minced onion

Combine all ingredients.
Roll into oversized balls approriate for the size of the peppers.
Stuff into the peppers and bake at 350 covered, for 25 - 30 minutes.
Take foil off for the last 10 minutes.
I always make a few stuffed tomatoes when I serve this. I don't care too much for the peppers but my family does. It's a nice compromise.

You need to brown the meat in a frying pan first, then add something like rice a roni-then stuff the peppers. That is the only way I have heard of doing this recipe. Oh yeah, you need to cook the rice a roni in a frying pan first too, mix with the cooked meat, then stuff the peppers. It helps to prepare it cooked properly, to avoid food poisoning.

I just take some raw ground beef and add raw rice to it. Just a little not too much. Add a package of lipton onion soup mix. Add some ketchup and stuff the peppers. Cover with tomato sauce and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
