Maybe you should first think about your approach. I wouldn't write her any letters unless you proofread them first.
Take her a flower. But don't allow yourself to be dissed. Go up to her like a respectable man. If she's not interested, move on.

Hon, eventually you're going to have to just ask her to hang on a minute and ask her. No regrets. I'm learning the hard way that you have to take risks. XD Besides, if you really like her, then she's worth it.

in the middle of a casual conversation just ask her "so are we gonna date or what?" or something along those lines, so it is totally friendly and she isn't intimidated but you can't be rude, make it clear that she matters to you.

maybe she is scared or cant go out with you now if she keeps on leaving everytime you try...try just talking to her or maybe slip her note...or get her something little and sweet for v-day! good luck!
