There is no evidence that the universe is anything but neutral. This rules out 1) an all powerful evil being (things would be shifted for evil), 2) an all powerful benevolent being (things would be shifted for good), and 3) a war between good and evil (things would fluctuate back and forth). Sorry, this means if there is a deity, it doesn't give a ...

No, there's have been changes. Dramatically! For instance, the 80's to 90's were the beginning of rebellious teenagers. Thus, punk music and black clothing.
90's to the 00's was the time frame for which a lot has happened, if you have been paying attention to current events. Sure, you may have studied the 60's and 70's in school, but did you ever study the 90's? Changes take place, and nothing is constant.
When you live in a coutry that allows for people to be free, what more can be done to change it?

My pal, i became on your place as quickly as so i comprehend what you're dealing with. Your substantial concern is which you're on my own too lots. no person should be on my own. you could take it slow to fulfill individuals, to hearken to their concerns, to grasp that all and sundry has issues, and to care approximately somebody different than your self. connect a club at your church, take a night type, connect a tennis or activities club, or volunteer for some hours artwork in a charity save. in line with danger it incredibly is God's way of telling you which you would be accessible assisting people worse off than you're. Do some thing NOW, i.e. in the subsequent twenty-4 hours. existence is for residing, no longer for questioning. Do sturdy for others and devil will have not have been given any power over you.

Where have you been for the past two decades? No change?
How's about the Fall of the Soviet Union in 1991? Iraq liberated from Saddam (albeit in a manner that actually made things worse), Afghanistan freed from the Taliban (if only the US sticked with stabilising the area), gay rights, more advanced technology, Human Genome sequenced, we've got a new potential safe anti-cancer drug...

I'm not sure how you can think that we're stuck in neutral. We are making HUGE changes, in many ways! ex. Socially (drug addiction and alcoholism growing), Economically (richer rich people and poorer poor people), and through general beliefs, (ie: science vs. religion). When our world is progressing towards children that you can genetically "personalize" before they are born, how can you say that there is no change? And that age old battle you brought up, classic good vs. evil, is going on and has been, we just don't know when the end will be. Every day of your life, every decision is part of the battle. Hope this helps, peace out!!!

For thousands of years they have been saying that doomsday is just right around the corner....well, don't hold your breath about these prophisies... People need a reason to live, or not to live.... and Satan and God are made up things to make people feel good about the reason they are on earth.

Would you mind stating the changes in each era and the lack of changes in the current one. I can think of many changes, but I do not know what kind you are thinking of.

Yes, there's a secret war going on, very similar to what is depicted in the movie called "The Matrix."

the decades were defined by the drugs people used at the time--60's-70's weed, 70's-80's lsd, 80's-90's amphetamines--from the nineties on we haven't had any real new drugs commonly distributed so everything went "retro"
