I live in California. During Ramadan we go to the local masjid, to break our fast and pray. My parents usally give each of us children $5 each as Eidi. The most I ever got was $100, from my uncle. On Eid, I love to eat samosas, koftu, and rasmali.

I live in Ohio and we went to the mosque and heard the shaq speak, prayed, and read quarn.
We get twos Eids a year, Eid Al-Adha and Eid Al-Fitir.
And out of all the food my favorite food is mensef.

in egypt we celebrate by having our eftar in our relatives homes (by turn untill it comes our turn ). the idea is to strengthen the relationship between people. we then go to pray al taraweeh in any mosque we choose. i get 100 egyptian pounds from evey aunt and uncle (about 600) + 200 saudi reyals from mum and dad. about the food .amar el dien, gollash, khoshaf, konafa, and oriental sweets(specially balah el sham) .
