iv been out with 3 men wiv kids and i say never again!! theyv all been very well behaved bt i think im js too selfish for it all, i like to go out when i want and hav fun and u cant wen uv got some1 elses kid to think about. i no this sounds horrible bt this is the way i feel!

I am. My husbands kids were older teenagers. It was a little awkward at first being their dads 'girlfriend'. Their mum still does the day to day stuff, and I dont offer any 'advice' unless Im asked. I think it helps a lot for them to adjust because their mum and her new partner, and me and my husband all get on together. There's no acrimony.

yes i,ve been with my husband 10 yrs now his kids are now 13 and 16 its, even though they have,nt lived with us got to come through sometime depending on mothers mood ,it has been hard love thy husband love his kids but they gr8 kids and i have a special bond with both of them . I hope if ur long term with your BF u have a good relation with his children and vice versa wishing u all the luck

Yes..I have been married to my husband for 5yrs now and he had been married to a woman for 19yrs before me and he had 2 daughters.WE all get along like they were my own kid's and I would not trade them for the world.I also had a daughter from a previous relationship and my husband treated my daughter like she was his own from day one.Any relationship can work if you want it bad enough and are willing to work for it.

Yes, it is very difficult at first, you have appreciate that your boyfriend would be LESS of a man if he did not put them first.
Just be their pal and dont try and discipline them or shove yourself into their lives, Slowly slowly works best!
