It sounds like he may be in discomfort. Have him checked out at your local vet.

My yorkie was the same exact way he's 7 months no and he stopped about 2 months ago. Your yorkie is just teething, and feels anxiett. As for the growling you yorkie has a strong independent personality and probablt wont let you hold her for very long. When your trying to scold your puppy for biting dont hold her set her on the ground and tell her firmly NO yorkies learn with repition so it may take several times before she actually gets it. Just be patient! Good Luck!!

Check with your vet on this problem. Your dog probably decide to be aggressive for some reasons. I had two yorkies in my experience, they love to be center of attention. I still have one yorkie living- 12 yrs old now.

Ask a vet. This could be a sign of aggresion. If it is, ignore the dog in any possible way. Don't pet it, feed it at regular feeding times, and take away toys. Eventually, the dog will find out that if its behavior doesn't improve, that this act of ignorance will continue.

you need to start training classes immediately, a puppy by nature should want to be held, petted, and cuddled. Did you just get him, has he done this since you got him or after wards? If he's done it all along, I'd be very suspicious of his breeder...a puppy EVERY puppy wants attention...he seems to avoid it...get professional help. Maybe you should ask your vet about the possibility of him having distemper?

He could be still theeting. Puppy preschool is good for puppy to learn basic skill and it also gives you his handle a start.

Teach her sit drop and stay. and food rewards.

Time out for biting and other behavior you don't like.
