Don't listen to Al Gore, since when is he an authority on climate change. The sun is no doubt causing it, if it is happening at all. The ice caps on Mars are melting also, I guess that's global warming too; what a farce. We are also in the middle of El Nino, which is warming the Pacific Ocean. There is also the chance that the gulf stream will change and most of Europe will freeze over.
So, don't worry about it, it is out of our hands.

The irrational false claims by the Eco-Whackos like “Chicken Little Al Gore” that the planet's oceans are going to rise 20 feet and inundate all the coastal cities is entirely bogus and a fear-mongering tactic to generate panic so that the mindless and dumb masses will hand over their wallets and blank checks to Al Gore’s Global Elites, while simultaneously turning society back to the technology of the Stone Age. Real equations executed to determine the sea level rise if all the ice on the face of the entire earth were to melt would only amounts to a mere 3.85 inches, not the highly exaggerated figure of 20 feet that the Eco-Whackos deceitfully boast to expedite their hidden agenda of a global dictatorship.

I just heard Al Gore quote some scientific research pointing to an expected oceanic rise of about 20 feet worldwide. This would caues many major cities to be submerged (40% of Shanghai, 20% of Manhattan) and would displace many people. The weather would continue to cause many problems, as we've seen with unusual storms like Katrina.
