Wow, I'm suprised that people are saying 2-3 months. Everyone I've ever gone to has said 6-8 weeks. That's especially good if you want to grow your hair quickly. Trimming it frequently keep the ends healthly, so the hair is less likely to split at the ends, which makes it easier to grow.
It's true that not MANY people go every 6-8 weeks like it's recommended, but that IS what's recommended! lol.

Actually, it is recommended that you get your hair atleast trimmed every 6-8 weeks. I usually go every 2 or 3 months, though. Regular trims help keep your hair healthy and less prone to dryness and split ends. :)

Hair takes 3 monthish to grow back to what it was like before your haircut so, I suggest around 3 months.

i wait three months and it works for me but i only get it cut because im already there getting my hair redyed so it really does depend on how fast your hair grows and when you start noticing split ends.

People say to trim every month. I just wait until I see any breakage, split ends, etc. and then I go. It's about every few months.

it depends on how fast you get split ends. when you get split ends you should cut them off before it damages your hair. my hair is damaged by split ends because my mom makes me wait till it is terribly damaged to cut it and then she waits another 2 months before i can cut it
