It really depends on your vocal range.
Use Defying Gravity if you want to showcase your range. It has great low and high notes.
If you want to impress them with your strong high notes you can sing Think Of ME (The Phantom Of The Opera)
For auditions I usually use Don't Rain On My Parade (Funny Girl), I Enjoy Being A Girl (FLower Drum Song - it's a really fun tune), You'll Never Walk Alone, Unexpected Song (one of my favorites because of the range), On My Own (Les MIz - but it's overused), With One Look (Sunset Blvd), and Nothing (A Chorus Line - my favorite, I always get my audience to lighten up and laugh), Someone Like You (Jekyll&Hyde).

on my own from les miserables is really pretty, and if you have a higher range check songs from phantom of the opera. if you have a lower voice, Memory from cats is beautiful. Les Miserables has a lot of variety so ya you should check their songs. Grease is always fun! You could do something like 'there are worst things i could do' or 'hopelessly devoted' grease is a broadway production. remember that a lot of movies are broadway, such as the lion king and mary poppins. so if you like songs from there thats an option. the sound of music has nice songs too - like climb every mountain. i would just look into some of these musicals on the internet, or look them up on youtube. well i hope you have fun and find something that works for your voice!

It all depends on what kind of voice that you have. You could try "Notice Me Horton" from Seussical, that suits Sopranos well. Also, "Good Morning Baltimore" from Hairspray suits Altos, but you could do it as a Soprano too. You could look through some music you have or try singing some suggested songs from a voice teacher, and pick the one that your voice teacher suggests.

Depends on how harsh your judges are. You could get turn away for being "too over the top" and too "showtune-ish"
If you opt for a showtune pick one that you can make sound like pop music. I like Unusual Way from Nine. It doesn't sound exclusively Broadway.
