That some religious people exhibit the same kind of behaviour as described in George Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty-Four", namely double-think, crime-stop etc. etc. It is almost always fundamentalists and they're actively trying to get the laws changed in their favour.

Telling people what they must believe and how they must act. Judging people by their own standards. Being convinced that no one else knows the "real" God. Thinking that all answers come from a book. Attempting to legislate religious beliefs.
