Is this being PARANOID? Please help!?

I am not a paranoid person, generally, but my boyfriend can be. particilary when i make friends with other guys and want to hang out with them occasionally. Anyway he says he doesn't want me going in their cars, incase they crash and he loses me. Is that being paranoid? Normally i wouldn't worry about something like that, but now i am finding myself doubting going in their car, even if they are just as good as driver as him (and better than if i was driving myself!) is his paranoia rubbing off on me? Want should i do?

Your boyfriend is not paranoid, nor is he worried about losing you in an auto accident.

Your boyfriend is very insecure and he's worried about losing you to one of these other guys. He's controlling and manipulative. he doesn't want you to have any male friends? What's next? Does he get to approve your female friends too? I think you really need to think about whether you want someone controlling your life that way.

It's healthy and normal to have friends of the opposite sex. People who don't think it's possible to have friends of the opposite sex have the emotional maturity of a five-year old because they believe every male-female relationship has to be about sex. That's just infantile.

I say, go have your male friends, and tell your boyfriend to back off.

I think he is just concerned for you...but yeah I would say it was slightly paranoid. Tell him not to worry about it...or invite him to come along.

I LOVE MY BOYFREIND AND DON'T NEED OTHER GUYS. YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN. WOULD YOU WANT HIM TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH GIRLS AND HANG OUT WITH THEM. IF HE WAS FRIENDS WITH THEM BEFORE YOU I CAN SEE IT BEING OK.
